Delicious!!! We've been going here for years. It's a hidden gem. Food is so fresh and incredible. The baklava treats are just perfect. Everything we've ordered is such a treat. 10/10! Staff is so friendly, feels like home.

Definitely worth the 4.9 star reviews! I got the pastrami sandwich, which came piled high and deep with homemade hot pastrami. Maybe not the very best pastrami sandwich I've had, but very, very good. Super nice folks running the place. Reminds me of those old school sandwich shops I group with in San Jose. Worthy of the hype.

Best French dip sandwich I've had in ages. A huge serving of tender roast beef and thick delicious dipping gravy. The bread roll is exactly the right thickness and texture. I heard that they had a really special French dip but I had to find out for myself. I was not disappointed!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Chicken shawarma is out of this world, but the real star of the show is their hummus. Pastrami sandwich is really good, honestly you can't go wrong with any of the food here. Service is unmatched. If you are ever in the area, make sure to stop by!

We accidentally discovered it while looking for lunch.  They had me at "falafel."  

Nice sized deli with Mediterranean and American menu. Plenty of seating.

Very pleasant and helpful person took my order.Ordered a falafel plate.  It came with options of two sides.

Within minutes, I had my lunch of four falafels with hummus, baba ganoush, as well as salad and tzatziki.  As well as a warm pita cut i four pieces.

Delicious and too much for me. Saved some for another meal.

I've been here a number of different times. It was sad when the sriracha shortage also affected them since their spicy sauce changed. The guy at the front is always straight forward, and the food delish though. It's a pretty open area with a number of tables but I've always gotten my food to go. The food is quick and he helped with any questions that I had.

So far we've gotten the falafel wrap, falafel pita, the chicken shwarma wrap, the macaroni, potato salad, and of course the tzatziki. The falafel wrap with peppers, and the shwarma wrap with peppers are our go tos. Flavors are really good and the size of the wraps is nice. The macaroni salad is nice and herby; would be a great picnic side. And that tzatziki is amazing. I like that there's cucumber mixed in which adds a nice freshness and the herbs on it are on point. We usually get a tub of it so we can throw it on other things.

Well worth the stop. I'll have to try more of the sides and veggie options in the future just to expand on the menu.

Service was fast and friendly.  The food was great.  Good value - large portions for reasonable prices!

Ever since trying a bit of their spicy chicken shawarma plate this last Summer, I've been hooked. Amazing food that's legendary among my friends and I. Warm and efficient service provided by the workers, accompanied by a homey and authentic atmosphere. Big H Deli should be a well-known staple of Fairfield if it is not already. I look forward to my next meal here!

Got a cheesesteak sandwich, it was huge with a ton of meat, and the Au Jus was legit AF. I could only eat half of it and save the entire other half for later.
